The Mousset group provides transport and handling across practically the entire spectrum of the agricultural sector. Their services range from transporting live poultry or food and baking flour delivery to bakers to milk collection and various services related to the management and hygiene of these delicate products. All these different loads need an appropriate and suitable logistics solution.
This lorry with Knapen body and moving floor was chosen to transport sheep feed from the factory to the farms. The combination of the load and locations the vehicle would be used in made devising a customised solution for this form of transport quite a challenge.
The hard to access unloading sites with height restrictions in the farmyards meant the lorry for the Mousset group had to comply with specific dimensions. Previously, a vehicle with a hook lift system was used for these deliveries, but it was impractical to use.
A customer-specific solution from Knapen Trailers in a compact format was precisely the answer to solve this challenging puzzle. The lower height and reduced dimensions of the lorry contribute to optimal manoeuvrability at unloading locations with limited space.

The hydraulic installation is neatly and safely enclosed in the custom made stainless steel toolbox at the side of the trailer.
