The Cargo Floor moving floor system now works even more efficiently with the arrival of the new low friction seal. This optimisation is now a default feature on all Knapen moving floor trailers fitted with the Cargo Floor moving floor system, except the leak-proof and L-shape floor plank profiles.
There is a seal between the floor planks in the Knapen moving floor trailer. It slides into a special recess on the side of each floor plank. The plastic seal profile prevents any cargo from leaking out and keeps out any splashing water and dirt from the road surface.
Less wear and lower CO2 emissions
The low friction seal features a different contour design, reducing friction. This optimisation has lowered the working pressure requirement during operation by approx. 10 bar. This requires a lower effort from the engine, resulting in less wear of moving parts and lower CO2 emissions.
The low friction seal consists of specially formulated TPU material with wear-resistance properties, ensuring proper sealing and a smooth guiding operation. The side of the new low friction seal is marked with “THIS SIDE UP” to enable the seal to be positioned and installed correctly to ensure optimum operation.
