Knapen moving floor trailers are available in almost every imaginable colour. Nevertheless, certain colours have remained popular over the years. One of those stylish and timeless favourites is silver. Together with our paint shop, we have developed our own unique colour: Knapen Silver!
The huge advantage of Knapen Silver is that it offers the fantastic appearance of silver metallic paintwork, but without the hefty price tag of a real metallic finish. Read more below.
In terms of colour, Knapen Silver closely resembles RAL 9006, but with a different composition. It is a solid colour paint that is sprayed over the primer. As this paint coat already has an attractive gloss, there is no need to apply a transparent coat as a third layer. Knapen Silver creates a luxurious finish with the appearance of metallic paintwork, but at an affordable price thanks to the simpler application process.
The new Knapen Silver colour was created in close cooperation with our paint shop. Extensive trials were performed to achieve the perfect hue, high quality and sublime finish. Thanks to the excellent trial results, we can now proudly launch this colour, which has even been given our name!

Knapen Silver has been added to the range of available body colours for Knapen moving floor trailers as from January 2025. The colour is Knapen Silver, but the end result is worth its weight in gold!
