In some cases, thoroughly cleaning your Knapen moving floor trailer between transporting different types of loads is necessary or even mandatory. As truck wash facilities aren’t always available out on the road, a practical high-pressure cleaner can be installed on your Knapen trailer so you can give your vehicle a thorough and efficient clean anytime, anywhere. This ensures your trailer remains in peak condition and prolongs its lifespan.
The high-pressure cleaner comes as standard with a hydraulic pump, spray lance and 20 metres of hose. Organised and securely stored in a robust stainless steel box mounted below the trailer for quick access so you can start cleaning right away.
Water is supplied by a high-quality 450-litre aluminium water tank, fitted with baffles. The tank is neatly concealed and positioned low under the trailer, between the landing legs and the first axle, to maintain a stable centre of gravity for good road holding.
The powerful hydraulic pump of the high-pressure cleaner operates as soon as the truck’s PTO starts running. This means the installation can only be used when the Knapen trailer is coupled so you can
clean your trailer easily and safely at a suitable location. Regular cleaning keeps your trailer in peak condition and considerably extends its lifespan.
The stainless steel box with the high-pressure cleaner is installed as standard at the front of the trailer close to the water tank. On request, the hose connection point can be positioned at the rear of the trailer for greater flexibility. Optionally, the cleaner can be installed with a hose on a reel that automatically retracts after use, either in the box or behind the axles. Practical and ready to use, without wasting unnecessary time.
Depending on the chosen package of options, the high-pressure cleaner can be fitted on virtually any Knapen trailer.
